Saddle Creek Memphis Fashion Fund Event Part I

April 7th from 5:30-8:00pm we celebrated the Memphis Fashion Fund. This took place at she Shops of Saddle Creek and was open to the public.

The Memphis Fashion Fund is a grant program created to support and cultivate local designers and artists in the fashion industry.  The Memphis Fashion Fund is responsible for the Emerging Memphis Designer Project and works with local organizations to create opportunities and training for these designers.

Below I listed the stores and how they were involved.

 Francesca’s gave 20% off during the event and had a freeze model styled by Anna Grace Newell

Soft Surroundings had a freeze model styled by Caitlin Fenton and gave away a free Rodial product with a $75 Rodial purchase. They also served champagne and mimosas.
J.Jill had freeze model styled by Lauren Draffin and served sparkling water and mini cupcakes. They also gave out $10 in-store coupons and there was a drawing for $50 J.Jill gift card.

Lucky Brand Jeans had a male and a female freeze model, both styled by Denzel Alexander. He is the man behind Keys To The Denz. They served a variety of refreshments and snacks. Lucky had a raffle for a Free Denim Card during the event (the card was good for any regular priced jean valued at $129 or less). Click here to see all of Denzel’s Lucky Brand looks!
 Janie and Jack had a little boy and little girl freeze model styled by Laura Boswell and served sparkling water, juice and other snacks. 
Origins did all of the makeup for the freeze models which was so wonderful. They also showed how to apply masks in their store, gave complimentary facials, product demo & samples.

Monsoon had an adorable young girl model who was styled by Laura Boswell
 Ann Taylor had 2 freeze models and offered their current promotion which was 25% off of your total purchase.

Chico’s had one freeze model styled by Kim Newsom and offered a 25% discount the whole week of Memphis Fashion Week.
White House Black Market had a freeze model styled by Lauren Draffin and offered a 10% off coupon for anyone shopping at the Saddle Creek location. 

Banana Republic had a male and female freeze model styled by Kim Thomas and served refreshments, fruit and cookies. Check out Kim’s blog KP Fusion for all her looks!
 J. Crew offered 20% off during the event for those who mentioned they were part of Memphis Fashion Week. 
 Marmi had one freeze model styled by Kim Newsom
Madewell gave 20% off a purchase of $125 or more and served champagne and gourmet donuts. I didn’t have a chance to go into Madwell but check out these donuts!

Brighton had a freeze model styled by Anna Grace Newell. They served sparkling water, and had a cheese plate and cookies.
 Vera Bradley had one freeze model styled by Caitlin Fenton and served sparkling water and Frost Bakery cookies. They gave product demonstrations throughout the evening. If you ever questioned the right way to pack for a weekend this was your chance to learn! Shoppers could enter to win a Vera Bradley Preppy Poly Yoga Sport Bag in Black, retail $118.
 Anthropologie had 2 freeze models and offered 25% percent off of a full priced item and served champagne. 
 Talbots had a freeze model styled by Shelby Tucker and served refreshments and snacks. They also applied their current promotion which is 30% off of a full priced top for MFW shoppers.
 Kendra Scott had a freeze model styled also styled by Shelby Tucker. They served champagne, cupcakes, wine and cookies. They also gave 15% off your entire purchase for anyone who checked in on Facebook and showed it at checkout. 
 Brooks Brothers had a male and female freeze model. They had a 25% discount off the entire purchase and took entries for a drawing for a men’s or ladies navy blazer.
 Indigo had two freeze models styled by me and offered champagne and cupcakes. They also gave 20% off of one full price item will proof of purchase of a MFW ticket.

    I love the space here. I attended an amazing event here and I ate more than I should. I had bread pudding, apple crisp, waffles and strawberries and cream. The main floor at event venues Chicago is very large and good size without being overwhelming, also there's tons of bar space too to order drinks.
