A new season means new styles! Time to bring out the jackets, sweaters, boots and layers.
Last week I blogged about a shoot I did with Style Blueprint on “What to Wear” to Art on Fire. That shoot included “What to Wear” to a couple other events happening in Memphis this October, the Memphis Food and Wine Festival and the Moon River Music Festival.
The look below is what I had in mind for the Food and Wine Festival. The sweater has an elegant touch by exposing the shoulder, perfect for feeling special while sipping on a glass of wine.
I am OBSESSED with this outfit. This might be one of the best things I’ve ever worn. This Rosie Assoulin sweater is so unique with its one shoulder and beautiful winter white color, it has a causal chunky feel yet elegant. I paired this sweater with relaxed boyfriend R13 jeans to add some edge and cuffed the jeans to show off my shoes. Who doesn’t want to see blue suede shoes? The red leopard print clutch seemed very fall like and was the perfect finishing touch.
This look below is what I had in mind for the Music Festival. A leather jacket always seems a bit rock n’ roll to me. I definitely had a lot of fun with color here. I looked at a black and white plaid shirt to go with this blue IRO leather jacket as well as a red shirt, there was something about this yellow that I just loved! I also enjoyed decorating my ear with Charlotte Chesnais ear cuffs 🙂
These boots are all about having a good time.
Lastly, my Art on Fire look. You can read about this look and see more pictures here!
