Yesterday was back in the 70’s, it actually got to 80! I was okay with yesterdays warm day because I was able to wear this cute pajama top that looks better without a jacket and let my feet breath in these adorable pearl slides. I was happy to be able to wear this outfit because we almost missed that warm fall that we usually have in October. My outfits went from shorts, tees and dresses to sweaters, hats and boots. We had a very little transition phase.
If you want to try the pajama trend this fall your first step is to buy a button up shirt that is outlined. Style it anyway that makes you feel comfortable or you can follow my tips in this post to be more adventurous.
I have to mention this darling bag. I have wanted a M2Malletier back for years now. Ever since I got to play around with the brand when I collaborated with 20twelve and Farfetch. I saw this little bag and I couldn’t resist it’s cute pattern which I will make work all year around. These bags also come with a shoulder strap which is convenient for a more casual style.
I love a half tucked shirt. It looks effortless but you know that person put some thought into the look they were going for.
A couple months back I wrote a post about the pajama trend which has been around for awhile but that I was going to be wearing it this fall. In that post I broke down how to wear the pajama trend by your style confidence, you can read that post here. This look here is another example of the pajama trend. I still didn’t go too heavy with the trend, if I had matching pants to this top than that would have been a major pajama moment. I would wear matching pants with this top but not in Memphis. I can see myself wearing that look in NYC or Chicago, maybe even a night out with my girlfriends in Columbus. You need to know your environment and audience.
